1941 A farmalls

the tractor i got has hydraulic's.but the serial number is faa48560.i got it from a man that had it restored and passed away and i dont know what i got

The Super A's had six digit serial numbers starting with 250001. Someone probably has modified your Farmall A. That would nice for lifting that 16-inch moldboard plow. Hal

What kind of hy system does it have the pump bolted to the block above the steering shaft as he could have changed the block and then added the pump there. I made a short shaft for a fellow in Calif who changed the block to have a live system. I have a B with one thats been changed that way just havent got around to adding a system. Look at the # on the block behind the speed control under the front plug and tell us the serial # on the block.

on the front grill he put a date of 1948 on it.he fixed teh trctor up .new lights, seat, new paint, sounds great ,no smoke, new radiator, new manfold.only thing he liked wasa start and i got that and it runns great.just wondered what to asked for it

You should post a picture of the tractor. Probably worth $1800.00 if the right person wants it. I sold this A back in 1976 for $1695.00 that included the moldboard plow on it.
I only paid $100.00 for it, but needed a lot work
and the engine was stuck. Hal

Could it be a Super A with a seat frame w/ serial # tag off of an A ?
Casting codes off of some of the castings may be a clue.
Like already said, pictures may help.
