ep, there is lots of belts and pulleys on there for other uses :D

Next shopping trip like this look for a old grinder mixer as it will have pulleys for 6 to 8 V belts and that would solve the belt problem.

Looks like another nice project.

Lyle, can you open your email, want to shoot you a question?

Thanks,
Rick

HEY LYLE! I think Old Roy is on to something here...send him more pics, I'm sure he has more great ideas! The sawdust can get unloaded into trucks backed up to the bin etc etc....

Lyle, that looks like a 329 from the top, same engine as in a 4030 and 29xx series. You might want to keep an eye on it for a bit after you get it running. They liked to cavitate and might need a new set of sleeves. Keep a close check on the oil, because the coolant will leak into it from the pin hole in the base of the sleeves at the o rings. It's not a hard rebuild, but you don't want to wipe out the crank or camshaft by trying to lubricate them with antifreeze.

No problem for Lyle. The way that guy gets things done he can re sleeve it tomorrow night after supper and have it ready to go for The next days log run.
