auction results - upstate new york

hey guys
just got home from an auction in the albany area of new york . collar city auctions.
only 4 tractors of note:
MF 165 diesel w/ kelly loader, ran nice, looked nice, loader was in real good shape - $3600 i think.
JD 2510, looked and ran nicely - $4500
Nortrak, 25? hp, 4wd w/ loader $4500
Ford 2600, a little banged up but started and ran nice w/ a brushhog - $3600
Ford 600, decent looking paint and sheet metal, didn't run but turned over - $1500
i think the steal of the day was the massey

i got myself 5 compelte sections of scaffolding w/ pins, feet casters etc and some extras... for $300 - which i am currently in need of for house projects

also got a 7 1/2' X 12' homemade trailer - has 3ft high sides...very nice shape, dual wheels, well made w/ DMV registration for $500

so for me...it was a good day

this auction has a 13% buyers premium on cash, 16% on credit...the prices are pre-premium

macfaddens spring auction is next weekend.

Here"s a thought on those scaffold sections. I made my own sections years ago, and bolted one on a running gear. They are a bit long, about 10 feet, since the spreaders were actually warehouse shelving components. It"s very handy for moving to different spot...don"t have to take them down to move them. With 3 sections on a trailer, they"ll reach 18 feet high. When I take sections down, they store on the trailer.
