What lubricates the gear box on the front of the diesel motor where the gears that run the fuel pump and power steering pump are? Is it lubed off the motor oil or do you need to add oil to the gear box?

Check your Owner/Operator manual. I have a 88/89 4610 that was purchased new and I don't recall seeing anything about what you are questioning.

Post back if I need to go to the shop and get my manual.

I cannot speak to the same question for the 6610 mentioned below.

I have A 3910 ford diesel tractor.(I think 1989 model). It leaks A little fluid. I ask at the Ford tractor dealer to make sure what to add. The power steering pump use the same as the hydraulic fluid in the trans. and rear end.
That is what I use.
Not sure about the fuel pump.

the inside of the timing cover is ran off engine oil. the ps pump is ran off hyd oild. the injector pump is ran off engine oil and needs to be changed when ever you change eng oil.

I have an "82 4610 an the gear train at the front (timng gears, injector pump drive, and power steering pump drive, etc) is lubed by engine oil from the crankcase.

Timing/injection pump/power steering pump gears all get lubed by engine oil as other have said. 4610 should have a rotary injection pump, which is lubed by the fuel as it flows through.
