Last week we cleaned out the old barn, alot of dust and old hay. I didn't wear my respirator mask the whole time. Fast forward a week, my Grandma passed away Saturday morning after a long battle with demenita and I was feeling ill, thought it was just nerves. Monday after the funeral I thought I would get to feeling better, went into the shed to work on the planter and got to feeling hot and dizzy, stood up and fell over into the header behind me. Then the wife took me to the ER where after 6 hours they found out I had bacterial pneumonia and inflamation of the lymph nodes around my intestines. Number 1 I learned that those masks are to be worn, and number 2 not to ignore illness. I was very sick, just now able to sit up without being dizzy.
