USA made tractors

Is there a 100hp tractor made in the USA? I have JD5303 (65hp) and it's made in India, the larger ones, Germany? Why do we have to buy something from other countries? Maybe we don't need all these brand names from other countries!!! What's wrong with buying USA? John Deere is not USA made anymore!!

That isn't exactly new information. John Deere has been building the mid-size tractors in Germany for the last thirty years. The large John Deere row-crops and four-wheel drive tractors are made in Iowa. They also build the premium compacts in Georgia.

i looked at a new 5303 back in '07...it like Ford had too much plastic for me...wound up with a 60 horse Mahindra with 200 hours on it for less than half of the new JD...came with a new loader, bale spike, shredder, and box blade...havent regretted buying it yet.

Well it's all LABOR, Ford Motor builds cars in
Brazil, average dailey wage for a worker there
was between 8 & 10.00. Can't fine people is
the USA that would work for that a Day..
Deere isn't going to be any different..

It is not just labor costs. Tractor sales in India are about 350K units per year. Most in the HP range that is built there. Sales in the U.S. and Europe are about 250K each for all sizes. Large row crop are the big sellers in the U.S. and 100 HP and less are the big sellers in Europe.
Deere have tried to build tractors where the biggest market for them is.

Try since 1957 or so when they bought a portion of the Lance corporation. Then the rest of the stock a couple of years later. All utility tractors were Mannheim built from the mid 40 series to the 50 &55's.

7000 series or what ever they are called are built in both Waterloo and Mannheim since approx 2007. Did it bother you that prior to that the 7000 series tractors were built in Waterloo and shipped to Germnay? Or do you want it both ways?

Has the world passed you by and you failed to notice that it's a world wide economy? And that the world does not revolve around the US?
