Have you ever noticed how some folks that list "stuff" on Craigslist don"t have a clue what they have, but they always seem to know exactly what it"s worth?
This one may just be priced a bit over scrap value!
Yard Art, or Scrap?

I always like the ones where there is a beat up rusted car with a blown engine or transmission, they "booked " it and want clean retail and yes.........."don't low ball me I know what it's worth" It's been fun watching people trying to unload their overpriced Saabs, of course Saab is gone and they can't understand what that did to the value of their cars, and then they brag about what good cars they are.... seems to me if they were that great they'd still make 'em.

Ya gotta remember that all of these auction shows on the tube nowdays have given people without a clue an over blown idea of what any and everyting is worth. To be honest I still enjoy watching them but it's usually kind of like watching a train wreck and you just can't turn away. Given what was shown on one recent show, if I went back and picked up all of the old coke bottles I've passed up when bottle hunting over the years I'd probably be worth millions by now.....

Maybe the real question is not if it is Yard Art or Scrap,..but,..."isn't it just some crap?"

It has amazed me in the tractor biz. I bought my first John Deere A 7 years ago before shows like pickers & pawn stars became popular. I paid $1250 for it in rough, but running condition. Today the same tractor can be found on sites like this or others listed for $2500+. I realize some stuff goes up in value over time but there is A LOT of junk out there that people think is worth a fortune, when it"s not. Of course I have seen some of those way overpriced tractors up on sites for a looooooonnnnnnnnggggggg time.
