New holland skidloader aux. hydraulics

I have a new holland LS 170 skidloader and today when I tried to hook on the post hole auger the aux. hydraulics wouldn't work. It has hand Comtrol aux. hydraulics. I unlatched the handle bigot doesn't seem to work. Am a missing a lock somewhere or should I just trace the linkage. We had an older lx565 so I thought maybe I missed a safety latch etc....

I think you have to turn them on in the control panel where the lights are. I tried to load hay with one and could not even get it to move. I called the owner and he walked me through the steps to get it to move. He said something about it taking some learning to use all the bells and whistles.
