Notice the blank spaces on category four no machines around here that big. Other dimensions taken from machines in the back yard and on a lot bigger place than mine. The lower pin width is the shoulder to shoulder width on the pins you use.

Note that manufacturers are very loose with some of those dimensions, especially the distance between lower hitch pins. I have a Farmall 200 which has the 2 point hitch. Have a Worksaver conversion kit on it. Works OK except that you cannot adjust the width between the arms, to adjust for width of machines, as with a normal 3 pt hitch. I have had to be very selective with choice of machinery or shim the hitch pins to the appropriate width to use on the Farmall.

Right, 1.125 converts to 1 1/8" for lower pin diameter on Category 2 hitch. I read it wrong. I think when all the comments are in , I'll make corrections then repost it in case someone want's to bookmark it.

I think there were 2 different CAT3's, a "light" one sorta CAT2/CAT3 and a "heavy duty" CAT3 ....read it somewhere, but can't remember where I saw it. Maybe others know about it??
Ralph in OK.

There is a cat 3N(arrow) and cat 4N. They have the pin size of their number, but are the width of the size smaller. This allows some easirt compatability of machines. Cat 3N is rather common, 3N quick hitches work with both 2 and 3N stuff.
