O3,
Where abouts are you located?? We are in NW Wisconsin, about 100 miles South of Superior,Wi.Up in Superior,on Hwy 2, there is a guy who has a decent size peach tree growng in his front yard, real nice looking peaches.Thought about borrowing a few,and returning the seed.LOL It would only be to make sure they were safe for human consumption. LOL.
Regards, LOU.

You're a bit ahead of me, SW Michigan. My beans are just starting to break through, potatoes about six inches, corn around three inches. Set out tomatoes and peppers yesterday and today and built the trellis.

Really Dry here.Water every day . Susposed to rain tonight and again tomorrow.Lets hope so. Our soil is really sandy so it doesn't hold moisture any length of time. Thanks all for the replys. Was just interested in how the gardens are comming along. Regards LOU.

My potatoes were about 75% sprouted last week, and we had two nights with frost. They looked burned on the new leaves, the 3rd day after. This week we had sunny days, and 70 to 80 deg days, and the remainder came up, and the burned spuds, are putting out new leaves. I think i've dodged the bullet! This is a real crazy year! Your spuds sure look good, I always thought Wisconson was way up north, but you are having a great spring, even if you have to sprinkle the garden!

Ralphwd45, Thanks for the reply. where are you located to have FROST??? Your right about the crazy weather, had air conditioner on today and at 2;10 am (now)it's 68 degrees out side.Watering again tomorrow if no rain. Gotta save the vegies. Our over production goes with my daughter to the hpspital/nursing home for distribution among the folks there. Keeping our fingers crossed. Regards LOU.

Yep, I noticed that too. So far, I'm a little scared in northern indiana on the michigan border. I keep hearing possible rain, and once in a while, about every fourth prediction of possible rain, we get some. A week ago, were predicting rain this whole weekend that evolved into rain only on Sunday, that as of this morning is now a "possible" light rain Sunday afternoon".
