Back last night... Uploading a few buttloads of pics.....
A big plus for the trip was I forgot my pill box (cholesterol pills).... Foot/ankle/knee pain is gone now (guess it wasn't the shoes).... Won't be takin them again.....
Will post links to the pics when I get everything uploaded...

i had that kind of problem with Lipitor. Doc switched me to Zocor, which was worse! Then, tried Crestor and that worked for me!

I had problems with lipitor. My doc took me off of it, now I take Zetia.

I was on lipitor for several years and had aching arms, thought it was just tennis elbow from throwing bales around. Was watching the add on tv for lipitor where at the end they caution you about aching muscles so went to the doc and quit taking the stuff and my arms started to get better immediately. I radically changed my diet which is not that easy to do, however I have all my blood work in the safe range now without taking any medication. Also lost about 40 lbs because of the diet which was also a plus. If that stuff makes your muscles ache just imagine what it is doing to your heart???

All Staton drugs are subject to cause muscle & liver problem. Been there & done that. I am surprised that the pain left so quick. I got to where I could hardly get out of bed in the morning. It took several weeks after I quit taking it for the pain to go away. I take heavy doses of Niacin 2000 mg a day now. Colestrol has been a real money maker. Not quite as much as asbestos yet, probably.

I've been taking Crestor for about 8 years without any problems. Has anyone had problems with it and if so what kind ?

+1 on the Niacin. Been on it for 20 years, my cholesterol numbers are perfect. Get a blood panel every year to check liver function, no issues.

Had a great time and left with my people skills mostly intact..... Home in time to get on the hay.... 9 days is pushing it tho......

James was taking simvastatin for a while. Made him dizzy and some other nasty side effects. Suggested he stop taking it. He feels much better now.

The statin drugs are really nasty. Stay away from them.
