Can anyone recommend a good battery? I don't mind paying for a good one, but I sure can't find good ones anymore. Specifcally I need one for my Goldwing.

I don't think it matters much any more, there are so few manufacturers. I look for the best price with a warranty. Usually get 5 years on most, MC, ATV, boat, one tractor went 9 years, and it was a cheap one from L&M!

If you live in a winter storage area[ means you hate riding in the cold] and don't trickle charge just get the JC Whitney battery because you will need a new one nexr year any way.Otherwise go to the Honda dealer then take care of it. Sears may have a Die Hard for that bike if you want a convenient good one.

In/on a motorcycle it is getting hard to find a battery that will last more then maybe 2 years and the price is way off to. I need to replace the battery in my Honda CB360T but as little as I ride any more hard to see spending $50 on one and not have it last long

I have had good experience using Deka batteries in my motorcycles, just keep a battery tender on them when not in use.

Tidbit of the day: Harley batteries are made by Deka, just with the H-D symbol and price tag on them.

batteries never last long in any small unit,,bikes especially, because they [size] vibrate so much, however, after finding the YASA brand batt again, [a friend found them, he needed one for his H-D], it has the salfate stop chemical in it that helps batteries have a longer life. have mine going past 2 yrs,,couldn't find them for a long time,,the best i used years ago, now i found them again and glad...
