OT: Sad Day

We knew it was inevitable but it still hurts. My brother's wife Charo passed away early this morning. She had been ill for several years. Recently she had a series of strokes and then her dialysis failed. Nothing more could be done for her. She leaves her husband, a daughter, two sons, and a brother and two sisters, and five wonderful grandchildren. She was a classy lady and will be missed.

So sorry to hear. It makes no difference how long you know something is inevitable, you are never really prepared for it.

After a five year fight with cancer. I thought I was ready for the day my wife would die. Took me a year to get back to a some what normal life.

Billy,

My brother is no doubt going through what you experienced. My condolences to you. There is no greater stress than losing one's spouse.

Dan, We are so sorry. You are so right, It does always hurt. It is losing a part of ones self. We are sad for you!!

God Bless Tony

My mother had cancer for about a year and on March 11th she died. I knew it was going to kill her, but with her refusing to say it would do her in, it was still a shock to me in many ways.

God bless you and the family.
