PS: Helped me unload and took a shower. I mowed with the compact tractor

Haven't seen one of those older Olivers in years. There used to be quite a few, but like everything else, the died out. Good photos.

Thanks kruser! That picture of the 88 on the sled, with smoke rollong out the stack, brought back memories, of my old man plowing gumbo with his 88 diesel. That Illinois river bottom gumbo was a real job for his DC Case, and 2-16 plow. He bought a new Oliver 88 diesel in 52, and pulled 3-16's, in the bottoms. You could see the black smoke from his exaust, coming up over the willows, and locate him even when there was brush in the way. Thanks for taking me back to being a teenager!

Was there an old guy there that pulls Ollies? Goes by the handle of Father Time. I work with him doing construction work around Bloomington.
