I heard somewhere that Moth balls would keep deer, rabbits, ground hogs and other critters out of the garden. Have any of you folks tried it and does it work?

I use them every winter in my grain drill & combine. I think the help keep the mice out of things. Not sure about any other critters.

Bout the only thing harder to deal with are those pesky golfs. Them critters are so dirty you gotta get a ball washer before you can do anything with them.....

To keep animals out of the garden why not use an organic way and plant herbs like basil and also flowers like marigolds. I never have any problems with animals in my garden other then the dogs once in a while or the cats and both of those are not all that bad

I would rather be trying to place those golfs anyday than babysitting the garden. I used to be able to go almost anytime, but I have been demoted to groundskeeper for now.

By the way I do like the idea of the organic pest control.

(quoted from post at 20:14:05 06/14/12) Theres a couple at church who stores there cloths with them, and it keeps other people awy.
I am sure the Lord doesn't mind their clothes smelling like mothball. He probably puts up with a lot worse things. When they came up they had to take care of their clothes and did what they had to do. When they go through the heavenly gates they will be adorned with a robe and crown.
