this morning my 19 year old daughter said dad lets take a bike ride,we went for a ride, and at 57 years old I just couldnt help but think how priceless this morning was, sometimes we just have to think about things that can be taken for granted in this great country we live in, Just my 02 cents for what its worth, Stopped along the way at one of the few farms left here in area here in nj

We are lucky!!!! Most people here don't know how rare true freedom is in the world. I have been in countries that you could not take a bike ride like that without being checked at check points to see if you should be where you are.

Also value the time spent with your children. They grow up FAST!!! Then their own families take over their time. Dads become less important then.

Larry where in NJ do you live??? I have only seen much open land in the middle to southern part of NJ.

we live in central nj,somerset county nj ,there is some open land left,we also rode in Doris Dukes estate in a town called Hillsboro I will post pictures later,She had an estate with 2700 acres

I have an old Army buddy that lives in East Orange, NJ and I used to go to Tabernacle, NJ to pick up battery acid twice each year. There is a little company out in the middle of now where that packages acid into the five gallon bag/boxes.

So I have been through your county before. I was surprised at the amount of green land in NJ. I was ready for it to all be built up. It is just like everyone thinks Iowa is flat. Actually very little of it is flat.

Larry, I get down through there quite often. I run down 206 from I-80 to Bridgewater. We have a warehouse there and also service Thermofisher.

We used to have our warehouse in Hillsboro.

Someday we"ve got to hook up for a coffee.

I've only ever seen the central and eastern part of the the state of Iowa and all but the area against the Mississippi I guess I thought it was flat.

I guess it's all relative, but in comparison to middle and east TN, central and eastern IA are pretty flat.

Larry, you are so right, riding through open country, a pleasure, spending quality time with your children, PRICELESS!
