Scepter MFC 20L fuel cans???

Anyone have these things?? Military 5 gal (20 liter) cans made in Canada...
If you have them, what did you do for a spout? Spring for the 50 bucks or make a workable one yourself? If you made one, how did you do it?

I have several of those type cans. I got an extra screw on lid. I used a hole saw and made a hole big enough for a 3/4 inch tank fitting. The kind made for a poly tank. It had a flange and a nut with a rubber gasket that squeezes the tank. After you have the barb in the lid I just use 3/4 clear plastic hose for the spout. I like the clear so you can see the fuel coming out.

Thanks! I was hoping to get an "I found a fitting that threaded right in"

I have a couple soldiers looking for the correct one but they seem to be just as hard to come by (excess ones anyway).... Maybe I'll just get a big funnel and only use them for the tractor and diesel......
