Tractor front steering pedestal problem

Does anyone have any suggestions on ow to get my steering pedeslal apart i can not seem to get the houseing apart to change out the o rings and seals the splined shaft is stubburn to slide down out of the steering gear

If it has power steering, I probably won't be much help. But if it is non power steering. What you hace to do is raise the front end, remove the lower part of the front end (4 bolts). then take the top cover off the pedistal, remove the nut from the top of the shaft, and then using something to keep from messing up the threads tap on the shaft with a hammer. The shaft will fall out the bottom.
