Right now, 106 degrees. My car said 107 a few minutes ago. Maybe cooling a little tomorrow.
Kansas City Area. Stay Cool! (4:46 PM)

Baled and mowed a load of hay today. I"s in a big pile up there under the conveyor - will stack it proper another day. At least it is out of the weather.

Only in the mid 90s here. Seemed pretty nice after the last 10 days. I worked all day under a shade tree making little pieces out of a Farmall H. China is going to get most of it.

I'm starting to get a little pizzed that I didn't cut any hay. I don't think that rain's coming. I got the oats cut Friday and Saturday, clipped the straw Monday, baled yesterday and hauled it today. Got a bunch of hay to lay down if they'd stop predicting rain that doesn't happen.

Get a beer and get under a nice shade tree with a nice breeze blowing. Who knows the tractor might just fix itself. Grin.

Nothing in the forecast under 100. Just got bumped up to "extreme fire danger". Its getting to be plumb miserable in central Arkansas

Jason----I"m about west side of Lenexa. Home here, tractors in Texas and Colorado.

Sounds like my 7 1/2 years in Enid, OK in the 1970s. The flightline ramp at Vance AFB heated to over 140 degrees. That is when we stopped flying operations.

Gonna go up to my land in central MN tomorrow afternoon. I think.
Haven't been up there since early June. Supposed to be high 70s/low 80s Fri and Sat
and low 60s at night there. It's been too hot to go up and stay in a camper this summer.
I'll be glad to get away for a day or two.

You have to do your part and mow hay when rain is forecast or it will keep on going around you!

I want to cut mine too. That last bunch of T-storms that come thru N. ILL and S. Wi. gave me about one inch.
Hope some comes your way RR

Did 4 loads of 2nd crop yesterday & finished
unloading & stacking last night, figured it
would cool off, it didn't. But it's raining this
morning so We did OK...

Hot is nothing new to be blamed on global warming. Back in, I believe it was 1980, we took a vacation to the Arkansas Ozarks, and it was over 100 every day and set a record for being over 100 every day for 14 or 16 straight days there.
