A new way to get around the tractor shows.

There must be millions of old bumper cars around, but I believe they'll get hard to find and higher than most people are willing to pay when folks start seeing these running around town.

Neat huh???? But as far as shows, etc go, there should be no vehicles allowed bigger than a wheelchair or one of them buddy scooter chairs for handicapped or old folks. Folks have no business zooming around in anything bigger disrupting the folks that are walking around exhibits... My experience with folks on golfcarts or the like just get down right arrogant and pushy. Not good for my people skills....

I have had an Electric Wheel chair for 10 yrs. If you really need one they are a gift. They should not be a toy. Around the farm it has been handy as I aways have a chair to set on. Son has alway seen to it we had it along st fairs implement show etc. When the show herd would go to the show it went in the front of the goose neck. Once at the show I could be independant. slept on a bale of hay behind the cattle. People very considerate. Go to the mall and people walk all over you, Here at th nursing home it is great. City has a Sr, citizen bus equipted witha wheel chair ramp call it and they will take you to a mall to get a hair cut, shop or for a doctors Appointment They are a real help but like most things som one eill ovr due sn csud troble gitrib
yep it is time for a nap.cannot spell

I'm in agreement with Dave and TGIN. If a person needs a motorized wheelchair like Graydon uses, then they sould be allowed or actually encouraged to use them. But in my opinion there's wat too many people riding around in golf carts, gators, etc. that interfere with others who want to look at the exhibits. KIds on garden tractors without mufflers raises this to a whole nother level--Grrrr!

Everyone has a right to their opinion and thats about where it ends. I doubt you'll ever hear someone with show tractors or those responsible for the shows telling old folks they can't ride their machines at the show. Now there was a time I would have said something had I been hit by a golf cart but that never happened. And now I'm one of them that has to ride or miss the show.

Noone is suggesting you miss a show at all.... Nothing wrong with a wheelchair/scooter chair. But just because someone is older or handicapped to a point of needing to ride something, doesn't give them the right to hog the scene and disrupt others. If I'm at something like that and get bumped or my foot ran over by a cripple or an old person in a wheelchair/scooter, I'll prolly say excuse me and step out of their way (depending on their attitude). Let a golfcart , utv, gator, kid on a mower or bubba on a show piece, etc. hit me or ruffle anything regardless of who is on it and it'll get real expensive for someone.
