I raked and baled 32 acres of hay today. Nothing left on the ground to get rained on,so those storms over northern Wisconsin will either stay over there or fall apart over the lake. Maybe I can break something next time.

I watered my garden then washed my truck and left it outside with the windows down.
Maybe?

I was out baling with dad and there was some lightning off to the north. Once we got to the last 4 windrows the sun came out and we didn't get a drop so far.

The hay was tough but with more rain coming tomorrow we decided for what little hay we had it was worth the risk. I cut some on thursday to gave it get hailed on heavy friday morning and more rain in the afternoon. I cut more friday night, and finished on saturday morning. We chopped 5 loads and finished of the bag, then had to bale the rest. More rain on it this weekend, some right after I raked but it was probably still better off that way.

I spent all day cutting hay - Now I'm under the gun! Broke the knife bar, right at the socket cup, brought it home and welded it... So far it has held. That little wire welder half paid for itself today.
