Hello James Williams,
Man! are they kidding!?!? It took 84 years to get it that way, that is a lifetime.
That is character in my book............NEAT does not begin to desrcribe it.
I'd tell them don't be so hasty to dismiss something that you can't replace in your lifetime!
Guido.

The older I get,the more I like them in their work clothes. Anybody can restore a tractor, nobody can make one original.

The dirtbags are coming--- I was the Volunteer committee chairman again this year, and I get to spent a bit of my day tryiing to keep a lid on the antics. We hadn't even opened this year when we had an accident. Woman ran into the side of another car at an 't' intersection, and then tried to convince everyone that it wasn't her fault. Enterprising kids started selling parking spaces at one of the satellite lots. By the time we found out what was going on, they had caught a bus and were on the fairgrounds. Another couple started doing the horizontal tango within sight of one of the entry gates. And some moron came in the gate with his kid and his pants hanging just above the bottom of his skivvies. Even a cop saying something to him didn't faze him as he walked off. And then there were the usual kids throwing toilet paper all over the place and being generally obnoxious. I often wonder where these people come from.

It just seems like noone appreciates anything anymore. That tractor has more character than the a lot of the folks looking at it!!!

Jimmy,
Now THAT is BEAUTIFUL! SSSSSSSSWWWWWEET!! Just love that nice chocolate shade of rust. Hope she stays that way forever - like someone said in a post below "you can never redo original". Husband had me print a copy of it.

Hope you post some pics of your other tractors too. Rust is my favorite, but still enjoy seeing them all.

any original tractor in good condition is worth far more than a painted one. original is original, and no second chances. thats why most of mine are rusty red, cause i like them that way. each one has character and tells a story.

It"s stunning just the way it is. I"d much rather look at or own one in that condition than some fancy painted one. It"s awesome!!!
