Hey folks...
This is a valve that bolts on the water tanks I use... Ridiculously expensive to buy new and you just don't find them used... Except this one and got overbid on it

Anyway...
Anyone know if there is such a thing (fitting??) that would be able to be stuck thru a drilled plate and thread together? Either a complete valve, or just a 1/2 or 3/4 inch threaded fitting....

Don't really have anyone that welds good enough to make me something water tight..

Thanks for any tips...

Or, if someone in the NE (NY/NJ area) would like to make me one, I'd send you the measurements and pay you for it and postage.......

A bulkhead fitting can be used to put female pipe
threads in a tank wall or piece of plate. You might
be able to accomplish the same thing with a
threaded flange. You can find out dimensions and
what's available by looking at McMaster-Carr's
online catalog Google McMaster-Carr.

Perfect!! Youda MAN....

Just gotta find a source... Won't deal with Mcmaster... Should find something quick enough on ebay..

Thanks again..

just curious why you wont deal with mcmaster???? i buy thousands of dollars from them every year and have never had a problem here on the farm or at work.

Can you reach inside the tank to insert part of it or not. Do not know of anything to use from only the outside but for plastic bulkhead fittings U.S. Plastics here in Lima Ohio. And if shipping with them could be problem I am only less than 20 miles and could do it.

Went to order something a few years ago and the website wouldn't accept my zipcode (APO Address). When I called, I got someone on the phone with less people skills than me and he gave me some uneducated excuse why they couldn't ship to me. Asked for his supervisor or a manager and he got all defensive so I got what I needed off ebay...

Thanks... I have something on the way. Both sides will be accessable because I'll put it in a plate that I'll bolt on afterwards...
