lost my tractor buddy and father last night -- died with cancer and it only took one month after diognosis-he wanted no treatments because they said it would not help much with the fast growing cancer that He had-- died at home with the family around him- going to miss Him -- God bless you all-- Roy

I am sorry for your loss. I loss my first wife to the dreadful stuff. I am sure your father will be greatly missed.

(quoted from post at 09:26:22 08/22/12) Sorry for your loss. Yes, you will miss him. Remember all the good times.

Lost Mom this year to Cancer. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family. May you have many good memories to share with each other.

God bless and comfort you and your family. I've walked in your shoes a while back..doesnt get better, just different. Still miss dad, but now I remember more of the good times.

So sorry for your loss, I received a lot of helpful advice from him over the years regarding my tractors.

Roy,

Beyond the darkness, light. Beyond the sorrow, peace. We wish you everything you need to get through this difficult time.

Daniel

So sorry about you loosing your best friend & Father . Cancer is that dreadful disease we all hate to hear about , especially when its a family member . At least he didn"t have to lay for years having it eat away at him causing more & more sorrow & pain . I lost my Mom years ago to cancer . Once diagnosed , she layed for 2 weeks before passing on to meet her saviour . The peace she showed in her face . My personal felt Prayers go out to you & your family during this time . Go bless, Ken

Roy-

Sorry to hear about your dad.

I think I met him that cold winter day when you bought the WD6? Loading that tractor was tricky!

Roy sorry for your loss. My dad lingered for 26 months after a major stroke. He was basically paralyzed and had no speech. He passed Monday.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I still miss my Dad who passed away in 1975. You'll find the memories are a great comfort and if like me, sometimes be mad at yourself for not paying more attention when he was teaching you how to do things. May God's comfort surround you and the rest of the family. God Bless.

I feel sorry for your loss . BUT i am hoping that people are not getting the wrong person in the ground . Other then the stomach flue at this time i myself am fine . AND i was not aware of there being another T V on here . Again i am sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of your fathers passing. My father died from cancer also.He was home for 10 days than left us.10 of his 12 children where at his bedside.

Vito

I think he meant that his Father was a tractor nut like he is, and that he was a Veteran from the armed services. (just my take) May he rest in piece, and his spirit live on in those he touched. Jim

Feel thankful that he's now at rest and no longer hurting, and remember the good times and cherish them. Sorry to hear of your loss.

News of "the tractor vet"'s demise is GREATLY exaggerated.

Clearly Roy Prins's father has passed, but the one we know here as "the tractor vet" is still alive and kicking.

No offense Roy, but if you meant to say that your father loved tractors and was a veteran of military service, you probably could've chosen your words better. You've got a lot of people thinking the wrong guy has left us.
