Update on my wife

I am posting this from the ICU waiting room, haven"t seen her yet this morning. They intend to wake her this morning some time. The surgery yeasterday went well,it was just an exploratory thing to remove more damaged tissue and check the work done the day of the accident. The arterial graft is working well, and the tissues seem to be responding.

It is still too early to tell what the overall results will be.

Thank you every one for your thoughts and prayers.

I am not going to post details of the accident itself, but items mentioned in replies to other posts are being dealt with.
 
Still praying for a full recovery. Good to hear that things look positive thus far. God bless. Hope you are able to get a little rest too.
 
Our prayers are still going for you. I just got word that my wife is coming home from the howpital today where she has been in regular and extended care since July 25th.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I nearly lost my mom a week ago today. She fell down a flight of stairs and we thought she broke her back/hip and foot. Tests came back clear but they did find she had been bleeding internally for some time. It took 3 units of blood and carderizing(sp) 2 bleeding ulcers to get her back to "normal." She is at home and resting comfortably but talk about bruised and banged up. Anyway my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Every prayer helps. God Bless.

I keep being drawn to your original post. When your wife is further on in her recovery... I sure hope you let her read these words or write them in a card for her:

"my best friend, the love of my life, the mother of my children, my companion of thirty eight years". Priceless! These words brought tears to my eyes the second I read them.
