Isaac is giving us rain

Well woke up to about 1.25 inches of rain from the storm Isaac this morning. Been needing the rain badly here in Missouri and now getting some. Maybe we will have some fall hay to cut and bale or at least so the animals have something to eat

Have about 10 acres of hay on the ground in Eastern Iowa, have to make decision to let it lay or rake tonight and bale tomorrow.

Rich, we haven't gotten that much just yet. I guess we are about 40-45 miles north of you as the crow flies.

It started raining about 8:00am, and rained pretty good for about an hour. Now it has slacked off.

I guess that is still those rain bands you see on the radar, the way the hurricane swirls around.

I hope it rains all weekend.

Anxiously awaiting rain here in Sangamon County, Illinois. Weatherman says maybe 2". I heard that plenty of corn has too much moisture to get it out yet.

(quoted from post at 14:55:04 08/31/12) Trying to remember where Maries county is from here in Camden county

old....Maries county is due east of you. Vienna is the county seat. I'm 7 miles north of St James on hwy 68. So far, 1.7".

I am glad to hear lots of people getting rain that need it bad. Then some people got too much in the South.
Here in E. Texas, Panola County, I only got
15/100".of rain. That is not much.

I have a MM RTU that came from that area. Wish I could find a set of cylinders to fix it but so far the only ones i find cost way to much

Heard on the new that they said some farmers are wanting it to rain hard and fast to fill up the ponds but any farmer worth his salt knows slow and steady is better then fast and hard. So 100 mile south of KC that is what about 100 miles north and west of me??
