Talk About Talent Look at This Tractor !!!

We had our annual tractor show Harvest Days festival here in Highland IL, at the Louis Latzer Homestead where he invented Pet Milk years ago. Any way look at this tractor that a local retired farmer built out of two Case garden tractor rearends and a 3 cylinder Yanmar/John Deere Diesel Engine. This is awesome. I've often thought about building one but never had the time.

Nice. Nephew bought my brother's Versatile 800; that is one good tractor. Cab isn't as nice as the name brands, but the performance is better.

John - is that an annual festival or a one time thing? It looks like a good one to attend.

Paul, this is an annual event always the weekend after labor day weekend. It's a nice show, not real big but not little either. It's held at the homestead where Pet Milk was invented. In the one building there is a 30ft long model of the pet milk factory. You can also tour the mansion Mr. Latzer built for his family. It's a relaxing weekend if you like to bring a camper. they have electric hookup if needed. Hope this helps.

Thanks John - we may try to go next year. It looks interesting - I like those model engines. Those guys are old school craftsmen. I live down by Chester, so it would be a nice day trip.
