I got a couple pictures of the plow, but it's hard to get a good one until we pull it out of the weeds.

Whatever it is, it looks like the you posted with the forged beams. Non moving land side wheel on it.

I always figured it was a wonder, because I thought the little genius ones had the tail wheel that lifted the back of the plow. Eitrher way we don't have a use for it and after talking with Dad, we figure we should sell it at some point.

Don,

Thanks for taking some pictures. My husband might be interested, but as you had said... cannot see very much in the photos due to tall grass.

My email is open if you don't mind sending me a note - then I can give you more details.

Critical item: is it 14 inch bottoms?

Thanks, Sweetfeet

Didn't even think of getting that measurement. I left my tape in the car and I could have used it for something else while I was out behind the barn.

Dad and I were just talking and looking at all the stuff behind the barn, some needs to get scrapped, other stuff needs to be sold. Basically, we need more room for what we use and less "stuff" piled up. Got to looking around, and we have 2 running gears that have nothing on them, (one is in peices but just needs assembly), 2 more hay wagons that have junk beds on them piled up with either good scrap, some bad scrap, and just parts saved from other peices before we scrapped what was left.

We've also got an old spring tooth drag, maybe 8-10', and I believe it's the same age as the plow and I think it's IH. Again, it's in the weeds and buried even deeper in them, so that would need to get pulled out to have some pictures taken.

Don,

When you do get more pictures please email me.

Yes, we have sold several things on auction and scrapped a few over the last several years. A person can't rescue every piece from scrap - but always makes me sad to know they are just going to be crushed and melted. :(
Thanks, SF

Most of what we scrap is very well used. We're probably gonna scrap our REALLY old fox chopper (1 row corn head, hay head, lots of parts stripped off that would fit on our slightly newer Fox 3000), the front off an older Meyers chopper wagon, and some other stuff on the wagons I've been trying to tell him to get rid of long ago.

We just scrapped out what was left of our parts Gehl #72B green chopper, Ford 535 (NI 290) haybine, and a few other things about 1 1/2 months ago. We've got whats left of a Glencoe field cultivator that is pretty much just the frame, but that'll make good stock for square tubing.
