Farmall 656 Year?

We're having trouble figuring out what year our Farmall 656 was built. Serial number is 2450028U042934*. What do the numbers before and after the U mean? What does the U mean?

I've seen the list on this site but then www.external_link has a similar list but talks about the numbers corresponding to the numbers after the U. A little confusing.
