My old forage wagons had come to the end of their life as self unloaders. So I took off the fronts and sold them, pulled out the apron chains. After some modest reworking on the front ends , I have 2 more bale thrower wagons.

ive never seen anything like that before either. im down to 1 hay wagon. hey its better than sending them to china

How do you unload them?do they have a hoist?Or do you have to throw em out one at a time?

I've cut down an old one to haul/store firewood. Fill it up. Come winter back it in the shed to dry/keep dry.

I too have seen the firewood trick done -- it works pretty well, IMO.

You unload them same as any other kicker rack. Pull up to the elevator and throw them off one bale at a time.

He could use it for hay in the summer and firewood in the winter. Double duty.
