I run across this on utube, she was only 12 years old when she put this on utube in 2008. I'd never heard her sing before and thought by now she'd be all over the radio and tv, anyone ever hear of her??

Seems LeAnn Rimes started out with a big hit covering a classic.

Red Mud here is a link to a newer video of her singing. She appears to have a CD out and looks like she is performing on stage. It take a but of luck to go along with a great voice. Also she is real young. Her parents may be making her got to school and such first before hitting the music business. If she has the talent she will be better of getting there later than sooner.

Never heard of her, but she's good. She would be about sixteen now, so she's had time to develop her voice and style. Maybe she will get a break. Problem is, hardly any of today's youngsters care for those old classics.
 
She has improved considerably. I also noticed that she is from Alberta,Canada, It may be harder to get a break up there. Just thinkin'

Could also compare Teresa Brewer and Wanda Jackson singing the same song.
 
Still hard to beat LeAnn Rimes. Took my son to see her at a little-bitty county fair when she was about 12- huge crowd, seems they booked her a year earlier before she "hit it big", and to her credit, she didn't welch on her commitment, although I'm sure the money wasn't much. Here she is on Star Search when she was 8.
