Just curious who is harvesting grains and how the yields are doing. We are starting soybeans here in Wi. Yields are 10 bu to 55 bu to a arce. All over the board. Will be a interesting fall.

On the most part people are having bumper crops up here in northern Alberta, Except for yesterday the harvest weather has been fantastic

my corn is all done, prolly wont do beans for another week or so. still quite a bit of corn out there yet that guys havent combined. i missed the rains in june and july, and only yielded 80 bu avg. aflatoxin hit our area real hard. sold mine right out of the field. didnt want to take a chance on filling the bins and having it grow in there. elevators are shipping the grain as fast as it comes in. neighbor combined a 40 right by his house saturday, the mold was terrible. the shiny green 9650 came out of the field coal black. sure wouldnt want to run an open station thru that stuff. with any luck my beans will do 40. we'll wait and see. ah well, next year should be better!!

Getting close to 1/2 done here. Terribly dry summer, in the top 3 of what I've ever experienced.

Corn is a tad less than average, but prettygood. Getting 14% moisture, had a load yesterday tested 61.9 test weight. We don't see numbers like that. Ever.

Beans look pretty good, might be a tad small in size so - all over the board, but close to average yield. Had a freeze couple nights ago, so all are getting dry rapidly.

The low ground is really producing, the high ground is burned up. Boy, if I had gotten an inch of rain in early August, wow would there be corn out there. Woulda added 50 bu an acre to thosre hill tops easily.

North of me a bit they caught some early fall rains, they are having bumper crops in a band.

By Cedar Rapids Iowa, Best I"ve heard is 125 bu. acre. Most around 50 - 70 The worst was 1.5 to 10 bpa on sandy soil and missed every little shower even now. Creek is dry and hauling water for the milk cows.

The plan was to start corn today. About an inch of rain overnight, still raining. maybe tomorrow afternoon. Corn looks good to excellent. Moisture is low 20s on up to milk right now. I expect it to all be above 100bpa, some much, much, more.

I wouldn't be in a hurry, but want to get some wheat in next week. The deer/coons aren't exactly leaving it alone either.

Got my beans done last day of Summer, 21st! Averaged 49 bpa- central MN, heavy ground. Dry mid-summer, got 4 tenths first week of August, helped to fill them out- inch would have done better, but glad to see the rain and the yield.

Finneshed corn fri.looks like 35bu acre.I did fill my contracts, but 1 of 2 bins has the floor just covered. Beans are short may be 15 bu acre, but they are 2 to 3 weeks away.
