Update: Interesting sight (couple of pics)

I drove back out there and got to talk to the farmer. He doesn't grown enough corn to justify a combine so he pics it and grinds it that way.

Older smaller family operation. He has what he has in the way of equipment. The green one was a JD but the angle to the road/other tractor and 55 MPH made me see it wrong..

He told me that they run an IH on the picker. The JD or on the elevator and the D17 hauling wagons.

Around here as far as tractors goes most farmers have all one brand. SO for here it's an unusual sight.

Thats the way we keep our corn, grind it as
we need to every 6 days, 2 1/2 ton grist.
Cept there are 3 round cribs & one we can drive
threw & fill from the roof & another round crib
at the other barn where all the yound stock are
at..
