Gravity Wagon

So the old gravity wagons are going to be used this year and I"ve noticed some small rust holes that I"m certain will let some beans fall through. What do you all prefer to use to patch those things up?

Depending on how big the holes are i usually take a short bolt and and fender washer and put the fender washer and bolt head on the inside and another fender washer and nut on the outside of the box, I try to have all holes patched by a welder eventually because of moisture getting behind the ptch if not welded.

I noticed one roll of duct tape was softer and more plyable so I used that over an area of smaller holes right on a slight bend in the bottom of the wagon box. It seemed to conform to the uneven surface better.. so I'll suggest the 90mph duct tape.. (g)

I don,t know where the boys got it but we have a roll of some metalic like tape. It is two part you remove a paper backing then apply the tape, has been a life saver we use about 4 older wagons to haul out these small fields and seems there is always a leak.
