Can anyone tell me how much a Hough HAH weighs, a friend bought one and I want to see if I'll be able to haul it for him with an F-250 and a 10K trailer.

I looked in some old books I had and they say the shipping weight is 10,000 lbs. So your trailer would not be heavy enough. You have to subtract the trailer weight from the rated capacity. I would not haul some thing that heavy on anything less than a dualed tandem 20K trailer. If it is any distance. Your biggest issue is going to be brakes. Then tires. At 10K your trailer is more than likely just a single wheeled tandem trailer. It may only have brakes on one axle. Even if it has them on both you will not have enough brakes to haul this safely.

Early model model HA's weighed around 5,000 pounds.
It's not much, maybe someone else more knowledgable will know more.

Dont know a weight. But here is one on a trailer that looks to be 3500 lb axles. Not saying it is right.

Your mileage may vary...

JD, that's the information I was looking for, Thank You, Yes my trailer is single wheel tandem 6K axles, brakes on both axles, title gross is 13,380, but I dropped the reg. to 10K, and would not jepardize my truck or trailer hauling a load too heavy for this trailer.

I think the HAH is a different model than the HA. My old book shows both. The HA weights 4700 lbs. the HAH weights 10,000 lbs. according to this old sales guide.

I know nothing about Hough loaders just happen to have a comparison guide from JD that show different models of loaders.
