I'm at that stage where I think I'm gonna unload some of my junk...er...projects that I'm never gonna get to. I'd like a a juke box. Not an old timey rockola 78 rpm antiquey. But a 70's 45 rpm Classic Country music playin model. Problem is, I don't know anything about em. Any tips?

I never learned but two things about a juke box. Where to "insert coin", and how to push the buttons.
One thought, if you know a restaurant or truck stop that has a juke box, (and I'm sure you do) ask them who services it, then check with that company, they may be able to put you in touch with someone who deals in them or they may have some for sale. Always kinda wanted one myself. Wish I had a dollar for every nickle I put in one when I was young. Nickle a play or six plays for a quarter, those were the days!

I had a Seeburg back in the 90's. 100 records, 45's. Very reliable good sound and quite a bit of color. Like the one on Happy Days. You push letter and number keys.

Redtom : I worked on them in the 60s , Seburg, whilitzer ect. I know a man who has about 20 in his basment here in Tennessee I will check and see . He might be getting of age where he would want to sell something, I just don,t know. If I were buying I would not buy andthing except a working unit. Finding some one that can or will work on the 30 year old units wonlt be easy.

Great site! Did you notice that in the top 100 that year, Sugar Shack, which you hear all the time on Oldies radio, came in at #68. Many ahead of it are rarely heard, including #1, Chubby Checker's Limbo Rock.

Site is even better if you eliminate everything from the link after .com- that gets you to home page, where you can select the year.
