McCormick deering metal

I have a pie e of metal with McCormick deering on it and would like to know how to remove moss from sitting outside from metal and how to prep metal to save without damaging lettering . Piece is from early 1900"s binder. Thanks

you could try 50/50 mix of bleach and water or try some kerosene.

depends how you mean that -

prep it for what? Just preserve it? or are you painting it?

Is the lettering painted on? a decal?

Have a picture you could post?

Talk with the folks at Owatrol. Not dure on the cleaning the part but this is what you want to preserve the part.
