OT - Winter pictures from Missouri

A couple of picture I took from my front deck yesterday of a pair of eagles. They built this next this late summer and fall. This is the second active nest I can see from my house which sits on a hill overlooking the Meramec river.

Great to see. I hope they make a complete come back.
We still seem to have plenty of wild turkeys around here. :)
 
Nice pics. It's a nice overview. A couple of miles from where I live there's an eagle nest in a big ol cottonwood tree along a creek. It's kind of an unusual sight here on the barren plains of NWIA. It's been there for at least three years now, maybe more and a hatching occurs every year. I had never seen an eagle until a few years ago so they are coming back. Jim
 

I took these last spring. They have a nest there and one was setting on the nest and this one was watching.

Really nice photo. Also liked the one goose pic you posted under the thread on hobbies. The reflection in that one was really cool.
