This white crap, I hate it.

Been snowing here in central Iowa for 3.5 hours, I already managed to get the van stuck. Had to walk 1/4 mile back to the house in the dark with the wind in my face. I'm already done with winter, bring on the mud.

I just went to set the alarms on the chicken house, the chicks don't come until Friday. I can pump 615,000 btu/hr into the place but it still has me worried with this being its first cold windy snap. She was 95.6 when I left.

In Iowa City at 3am still just rain. No snow on the ground yet. Im at work so I thought I would give a weather report.......

It's done snowing here in eastern Nebraska at 7:30am. Still strong winds.

I'll have to fire up my plow pickup in a bit and see if I can do anything. As wet as the stuff is, with the ground wet underneath from rain a few days ago, might be a mess plowing it.

Also, when the snow is this wet, the throat keeps plugging on the blower I use around the house.

Landscape guys that plow snow in the winter love the early snow storms before the ground is frozen. They tear up their customer's lawns so that they have plenty of work repairing the damage after the snow melts next spring. LOL

This white crap is a very needed product of mother nature. It would be nice if it could all soak into the ground instead of running off and causing flooding.

I definitly am not a snow and cold weather person, but its so dry here that even that would be welcome now.
