What are you loading with? I have tons upon tons of loose scrap like that...just don"t want to load by hand, but I"m not sure how effective a loader bucket would be at picking it up

I have a horse drawn scope bucket, I channed to the fork lift arms. It worked fairly good. I would think a loader bucket will do the same. If you have a scrap yard close they may bring a box to dump in into. The only yard around here will do that for free. Stan

Short iron clean like that brings a premium price. Ever time I chunk those dozer pads and rails some one will come in here the next day needing just one link or one pad but they sure make good scrap.

Stan,
Here is the load I carried this afternoon. Spent the last two days skinning it out. $3.10 lb.

I bet you did ok on that load. Here if you hauled in a load like your picture was taken standing beside the scrap, a picture of your license plate, a copy of your license. Then you didn't get payed that day. A check was sent to you.I spent some time today cleaning some aluminum window frames. Don't hardly pay at .55 per pound. Stan

Surprising as it may seam with the little wheels in the back, not one time. I just make wide turns and everything is good. It has been stuck before, but not this time, when not paying attention. I learned to park it on a good hard area during a rain though. Stan

In this county you have to get a permit to haul over 25lb of copper... No permit a find,,, if you make it to the local scrap yard they will not buy it without a the permit... The permits free tho... It keeps honest folks honest are turns them into a criminal for not knowing you need a permit...

THe only 2 things I would save is the leaf spring. They are my go-to metal for all kinds of repairs. The other is the long coil spring.
