Yesterday I posted a few pictures of an IH 1962 Calendar given out by Kriegbaum & Son Implement Co. I googled their name and came up with two pictures of their store.

Lower photo (inside of Kriegbaum Bldg.), right side of photo - Glider. I can remember "gliding" in one of those as a youngster back on the family farm in Virginia. Brings back a lot of memories.

Good Picture! I always thought it would be neat to have a store like those years ago in modern day. But today there are so many items to clutter the store. Looking at this store it looks like their warehouse, I see two trucks parked inside. Years ago the selection of items was minimal by the looks of it.

The Kriegbaum family were IH dealers in this part of East central Indiana for many years. There were 3 stores that I know of, Hartford City, Huntington and Marion. The Hartford City dealer closed sometime in the 60's. I believe they were all seprate stores, same family. The Marion store was the biggest and lasted till Case & IH went together. That store lost the dealership to a Case store that was West of Marion, as I remember. The High School football field on the North side of Huntington has the Krigbaum name
