Anyone know a cleaner to remove grease, but save the good paint under grease?
Paint is factory and too good to repaint. Thank you.

I have a Hotsy pressure washer wich is good for that job.

It will leave the paint intact if you use the correct nozzle.

I use citrus degreaser from home depot $10.00 a gallon works great!!! biodiagradble. I put in a two gallon fertilizer sprayer for real good soaking, smells good too!

ears ago I mixed Basic H and I think it was PineSol about 50-50. It gels so you can spray it on full strength and let it sit without it running off. I cleaned an old Chevy truck engine with it, best I remember it did a good job and didn't take off the paint

Simple green is not simple, it is corrosive! It is dangerous! Read the MSDS. Look for a solvent based product, especially one based on Dlimonene. It is from orange peels and really cuts grease.

I would use naphtha. It's the main ingredient in wax and grease remover to prep a vehicle to paint. It's a mild enough solvent it won't damage even an alkyd enamel.
