Does everyone remember the woman with the rolling pin? She allso played the banjo in the girl band.She's Ronnie Stoneman and has been to my house a few times.She tells some great storeys of her time on the show and working on the road with several of the big old time acts.
 
I remember her telling a story one time on another show about the Stoneman Family. Said they were quite a rowdy bunch and when they booked a show,there was usually a clause that said how many Stonemans had to be in the show. Said some of them had a habit of getting arrested and they had to bring in replacements for the ones in jail,thus the minimum Stoneman clause.
 
Her and her HeeHaw husband were great characaters.

Her character was Ida Lee...Ida Lee Nagger. Cannot remember her husband/character's name.
 
i remember one time LuLu asked Junior Samples to say something nice about her; well he thought for a moment and then said "for a fat girl you sure don't sweat very much".
 
Stringbean Akeman and Bobby Thompson were two of the greatest banjo pickers ever. Bobby is gone now and Stringbean and his wife were murdered in a home burglary.

Loved Ronnie Stoneman on Country Family Reunion a few months ago. Probably where you heard the family stories.

Lisa Todd/Sunshine Cornsilk is the love of my life.
