What a fun age! Now might be a great time to buy a video camera for your computer and learn how to Skype so you can do live chats and know her better. Her mom and dad can set everything up on their end and allow her some time to talk to you.

I don't complain too much about all the things we have today except that! To darn many kids go off someplace else to live and are so far away! I would love it if all my grandkids were no more than an hour or 2 away. I feel for ya.

Skype and face time are wonderful. Not as good as being there but the next best thing.
