Allis Chalmers B been sitting for a year. Took it out and cleaned up all the electrical stuff. Starts but only runs on full choke even after one hour. If I lower choke it just dies.

A little help would be appreciated. Thx

If it is the one with the nonadjustable main jet that has the pipe plug over it pull that plug off and then with the gas turned on run a small wire in the jet. You stand a good chance it is clogged up. Also before doing that pull the carb drain plug and let say a qt of gas flow out of the drain to clear any water/dirt/rust out. Common problem with a tractor that has sat and if it had gas in it then the problem is even worse. Spent a couple hours yesterday at a friends place doing the carb and bad gas thing and got all but one running

Is the sediment bowl shut-off open? Is the sediment bowl clean?

After reading about the celebrities with STD"s I got the letters a bit off. LOL! Glad to hear it"s about carburetors rather than them other little things.

I'll bet your sediment bowl is clogged up or the needle is stuck in the seat. I had to tap the carb on my Farmall H today to get the needle to open. It sat all winter with the gas turned off. Once I tapped the carb it started right up and it's still a 6 volt positive ground system. It charged good at 1/4 idle too.
