I have several thoughts, none of them positive, so I won't comment.
You're rubbing it in Larry. Winter is coming back to NY. Heavy wind, hard freezes every night, snow flurries. Another lost week.

Did it sound like a diesel?? Because i swear in that 3rd picture the engine looks like a deutz air-cooled diesel. The oil filter is even in the right spot.

Looks like an 1800 series Oliver with a Deutz engine. Would it be Amish with the steel wheels? Here in central IL if the tractor is not paid for it can have rubber tires.

Had to say for sure, but looks like the fuel tank on a 1850. Motor looks like a Deutz.Appears that the Hydra Power drive shifter is on the throttle, so it would have a 3 speed Hydra Power Drive. I'm guessing a late 1850 with fleetline or super fenders on it. That one makes my old dogs look pretty good. Chris

I knew that was not an engine I was familiar with! I am no Oliver man, but I know when an engine looks like it is missing parts. I figured that it was some kind of Amish repower.

The rubber tires for a leined item is a new one on me. I grew up around a fairly large sect and thought I knew the ins and outs. Seems like a new way to stretch the rules.

The old order Mennonites use wheels just like that around here,BUT! is that a Duetz air cooled engine in that thing?!

What would you call that thing,an OllieDuetzMartin Special?

That is def a Deutz engine. The Amish really love them, but that guy is a Mennonite. You can tell by the hat. He would be what we call "Joe Wenger" mennonite. He would have electricity, but would use a buggy to get around, and use steel on tractors, skidsteers, etc. Thats one UGLY tractor...

On last payment of the loan the devil in the payment book gets into the air in the tires. Sort of true it seems, usually get some major tire damage right after you get something big paid off.

Not a 55 series. They have headlight above the grill.
Where is the air intake?
That might be a deutz motor with the air ducting.

Plowing with a 4 bottom--might be 1850 depends on the size of the plows. 4-12's could be 1650 if they're 16's then 1850.

Of all the plowing pictures I've seen this is the first guy who has his field set up correctly.
