In an post the other day, you said that you should move near to me, because land was $15000. per acre in your area. Well 125 acre farm was just listed this week , not 5 miles away from my home place. $600,000. asking. No out buildings and house is a mess inside."tenets" fled. Id say well over 100 workable. More if you where to pull out fence rows and drain.Just some thing to think about, not all the good land in Ontario is west of the 400 hwy. Just the pricey sutff is. Bruce

Wow, around here you would be lucky to get 100 workable acres for less than $1.5 million. We've had several land auctions this winter/spring, range of $12 000-$16 500. Also had a few up for tender that sold high. 100 acre farm, about 85 workable, guy I know had a tender in for $1.3 million and was not the highest bid.
