Clouds on fire?

We had pop up thunder storms this afternoon and evening and when the sun went down the clouds looked like they where on fire. So grabbed the camera and took a few pics. John

Nice pics John! Storms didn't get here until about 10 p.m.
What part of Michigan are you in?
I'm in Ionia county, so I'm guessing you're a little further North?
 
Isabella county, first storm went through about 2 pm and another good one at 5 pm. Had a little hail (3/4 inch) with the second one but no damage.
 
Wow, we're a liitle south - northern Montcalm county, saw the clouds to the north. We ducked the bullet, storms went north and south of us. I have hay down- should be able to bale tomorrow, and cut more this evening - hopefully be dry before the next system comes through. A rain would sure screw things up for me. Is it true there was a funnel cloud with the afternoos storm by Mt. Pleasant?
 
Glad to hear "no damage".
Step-son's up at CMU, he said it was storming pretty good.
Nothing much here, some thunder, lightning and a little rain.
Really came down quick, but only for about 10 minutes.

SWMBO paints some, and swears folks would claim that clouds don't get that color when she paints something like that. That there is pretty.....
