for john in la

I had trouble with my email and have not got it fixed. I never really checked it on a regular bases anyway.

But I would be glad to help you if I can. I am better at the older 4 cylinder 4000 than the newer 3 cylinder tractors but I will do my best.

You can call me at two two two five five five two.
If I do not answer (often will not unless I know the number calling) just leave a message and I will call you back.
I live just up the road in Bedico.

This is not a thread hijack but a question others may enjoy
reading the answer.

Teebeau, last time I was out your way I saw a lot of rectangular
pools of water on certain farms. Maybe 30' wide and 150' long.
Looked like they had vertical sides. Assumed it was catfish
farming or fresh water shrimp.

Would you share what you know about the subject?

Thanks,
Mark

Knowing the area where Teebeau and I live I can tell you it was not farms. We have very few farms other than the occasional dairy or beef cattle around us.

But we do have many ponds along the interstate about the size you describe. These are what we call interstate ponds. It is a hole in the ground where dirt was dug out to build the interstate to grade so it is higher than the surrounding area. This makes the interstate the last thing to flood or real close to it.
