Since the sweet corn is done for the year I thought I"d get out the old chopper and take care of the stalks! Can"t pass up a good opportunity to use the antiques. The chopper is an Algoma No. 17.

My first planting of SC is just ready to pick had a couple yesterday and grabbed two more on the way to get the morning paper.

Good way to chop up the stalks. I used a Troy Bilt chipper/shredder on my stalks. Once I had it spread over the garden I would plow it under. Hal
